Limited Medical Services

Our board certified medical team is comprised of four fully trained and licensed Wisconsin nurses & a Neonatal -Maternal Ultraound Technologist- supervised by our Medical Director who is a Wisconsin licensed OB-GYN.

The New Life Medical Team provides limited medical services free of charge for the following:

Limited ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and STI testing.

Additionally, during pregnancy and the post-partum period, a nurse will meet weekly with moms/ dads providing educational support regarding each stage of the pregnancy and postpartum period after the birth. Just as with other parenting curriculum we use the Earn While You Learn Program and clients earn points that translate into “purchasing” needs in our Boutique!

New Life also offers workshops that focus on family health and wellness including birthing classes. (See below)

Some Thursday evening appointments are available for working clients.

HIPAA Notice

Pregnancy Tests

We offer free, confidential pregnancy tests.

The test is self-administered and only takes a few minutes.

You can make an appointment with our nurse- she can provide written certification and education.

We also offer:

Referrals to WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) and PNCC (Prenatal Care Coordination)

Avoid urinating (peeing) one hour before your appointment.

Ultrasounds

We offer FREE limited ultrasounds for expecting women up to 20 weeks of pregnancy.

We look for three things in a limited ultrasound:

Confirmation of pregnancy
Detect a fetal heartbeat
Determine estimated gestational age

STI Testing

We provide free and confidential testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are two of the most commonly reported STIs.

You will meet with a Nurse for a confidential intake, and the test is a simple urine sample. Results will be available within 3 business days, so you will visit again for a results appointment.

Nurse Side by Side Mentor

Our nurse side by sides will meet with you frequently during your entire pregnancy and post-partum period. They are here to support you and answer any questions you may have as you nurture your little one growing, and prepare for the birth.

Options Counseling

First of all, you need to know that you’re not alone. Did you know that roughly half of all pregnancies in the U.S. are unplanned? That’s right: HALF. An unplanned pregnancy can involve emotions far more complex than “how did this happen?!”

If you are not in the right place personally, financially, or in your relationship to have a child, an unplanned pregnancy may bring up negative emotions.

Even if you are perfectly able to support a child in your life, financially and emotionally, you may still have mixed emotions. Don’t be afraid to acknowledge those emotions. If you need help sorting it out, we are here to go over all the options with you.

Health Workshops

Our Education team is available to provide short workshops on a vairety of healthy family topics such as Enjoying a Healthy Pregnancy, Feeding and Caring for an Infant, Nutrition for Toddlers and Young Children and much more!
